Neighborhood + Connections = Community!
Welcome to the Courtyard!
Thank you for checking out our community website.
Since 2021, Larry and I have enjoyed getting to know our neighbors, bit-by-bit. We've organized several informal "Wine-down" events in the courtyard, where we met new neighbors that we hadn't even seen yet... and new neighbors who have joined our community since then (Welcome!).
As a way to continue creating connection, I was thinking about creating and distributing a quarterly newsletter for the community. But then I thought it might be better (and easier) to create a simple web site instead, where everyone could participate (no pressure).
Voila!... here it is... (a work in progress) Courtyard Connections!
The Purpose...
To meet your neighbors
See upcoming social events and happenings
Check out, and add to our own community calendar
Share a favorite recipe
Organize a neighborhood gathering, community garage sale, walk down Ocean Street Ext for a summer Friday night Movie night, etc.
Share news bytes, stories, and local photos
Ask questions
Make suggestions
Post items for sale, or for free!
Share odd or suspicious activity to your neighbors (please call SCPD for issues that require a response).
The sky is the limit.
Benefits of Community...
Knowing our neighbors is important for neighborhood safety and well being. But establishing connections with neighbors will make a lasting difference for everyone! We share far more in common than just our courtyard and adjoining walls. Let's get to know each other!
Feel free to help me make this website a fun, helpful and, most of all, a respectful tool for everyone to use. Your contributions and suggestions to our community, are what will truly make our neighborhood a unique, welcoming, and healthy place to call home!

Note: This is NOT an official HOA website, but rather a personal site that I created for our neighbors to get to know each other better.
